Chesser Chemicals is an Australian owned local SA manufacturing company, based at Ferryden Park. They manufacture and supply cleaning and sanitation products.
With increased demand for their products over the last few years, Chesser Chemicals have been able to grow and employ more people right here in SA.
With care for the environment and energy responsibility as a core value and rising power costs also impacting their manufacturing they looked for a sustainable solution. It was important that it also deliver reduced power costs and increased energy independence.
Keeping the disruption to business minimal was key win during the project. Safely installing solar panels, building and installing the battery was a a big project and was completed in a timely and successful manner.
Powertech Energy designed, engineered and installed a custom solar array and battery solution.
The solar energy solution installed reduced their grid power consumption dramatically. Any excess power generation is either stored or fed into the grid and called upon when demand is increased.
