Following our first discussion alongside the Edward’s group sharing our insights of sustainable savings in the caravan industry, Anup R. was hard at work with his second talk at the Caravan Industry Association of Australia. This time he was a part of the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) panel. Anup was creating great conversation and concentrating very hard … as you can see by the look on his face!
The Panel consisted of an array of caravan park operators. Alongside Anup, the panel included Susan Griffiths (RACV Royal Pines Resort), Greg Mckinnon (BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort), and Cicely Sylow (Ritchie Villages). Each panel member individually explored innovative projects that are driving environmental sustainability and fostering social inclusivity within the industry.
Anup in particular, discussed the circular economy and its gaining traction aiming to reduce negative environmental impacts. He discussed how the principles of circular economy are being implemented into caravan parks across Australia, predominantly through the use of Powertech’s waste management machine - Foodie.
We have been so grateful here at Powertech to be able to use our voice to share our insights at the CIA Conference for the second year in a row, helping to cultivate a greener future.
