John Munro is the Chairman of the Power Tech group of companies. In 2019, he co-founded Power Tech Energy with a vision to better his community’s future.
John has been an entrepreneur and business builder for many years. With experience managing retail, rental/servicing, mining and an RV dealership over the last 3 decades, he has an impressive and diverse background in multiple industries. This allows him to add invaluable insight and guidance, which is conducive to our company’s success.
John’s belief for Power Tech Energy lies in the value he sees in working together with like-minded partners, customers and community to achieve a net zero future. He believes in the promise that renewable energy exemplifies in bettering Australian lifestyles and the world’s future. Allowing people and companies access to smart technology to help them take control of their energy, water, and waste is the goal.
John finds inspiration in his professional life through the lessons that were passed onto him from his father. He credits this to the years of loving care and his example of diligence towards his passions. His respect for the environment is motivated by his hope that smart technology can provide future generations with a cleaner future.
John believes that it is important for our customers to reflect on the long-term cost of energy and compare it to the environmental savings when supporting renewable technologies. He believes that renewable energy and smart technology are the answer to achieving economic and environmental success and that the future is reliant on them working together simultaneously.
